  • [CELLIST] August 21, 2010: WSKOV (Orchestra) performed Max Bruch's Concerto for Clarinet, Viola and Orchestra at the Street Theatre Festival during the Annual Introduction Days. Location: 'Markt' in Wageningen (The Netherlands).

  • [COMPOSER] August 13, 2010: Charles Belfor performed "Wedding Processional", his own composition for cello solo, during a wedding ceremony. Location: City Hall of Leiden (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] July 2, 2010: Orchestra recorded Jeffrey van Rossum's music for movie trailers. Location: 'Bernard Haitinkzaal' at the Conservatory of Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

  • [SEPTÆDER] June 6, 2010: Septæder performed during "Grunn Pop"; a 2-day local music festival. Location: 'Stadspark' in Groningen (The Netherlands). Time: 7.30-8.10 PM (1930 hrs-2010 hrs).

  • [ARR.] May 20, 2010: Mary Jane performed during the try-out of "Stukafest". Cello parts composed and performed by Charles Belfor. Location: Groningen (The Netherlands). Time: Between 9.30 and 11 PM (2130 hours and 2300 hours).

  • [ARR.] May 7, 2010: Mary Jane performed during "OOG Forum"; a radio discussion programme. Cello parts composed and performed by Charles Belfor. Location: 'Leescafé Belcampo' in Groningen (The Netherlands). Time: Between 5 and 6 PM (1700 hours and 1800 hours).

  • [SEPTÆDER] April 26, 2010: Septæder performed their repertoire during a private party. Location: 'Het Pakhuis' in Groningen (The Netherlands).

  • [ARR.] April 15, 2010: Mary Jane (band) performed 2 songs during the final round of "Nootuitgang", a local singer/songwriter contest. Cello part composed and performed by Charles Belfor. Location: 'In-theater' (USVA) in Groningen (The Netherlands). >>Won 3rd prize.<<

  • [ARR.] April 9, 2010: Pop Ensemble recorded an arrangement of Anna Ternheim's "A French Love". Cello and violin part composed by Charles Belfor, guitar part arranged by Eric Leenes. Location: Groningen (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] March 18, 2010: Musica Silvestra Orchestra & SHOT Concert band performed Antonín Dvořák's "Symphony no. 8 in G major". Location: Vrijhof Cultuurcentrum at the University of Twente in Enschede (The Netherlands).Time: Started at 2000 hours.

Elgar's "Variations on an Original Theme for orchestra, Op. 36 ("Enigma")" & Paul Dukas' "L'apprenti sorcier" during the 5th Oldambtster Muziekfestival (Oldambt Music Festival). Location: 'Herenboerderij' in Bellingwolde (The Netherlands).

  • [COMPOSER] June 18, 2006: Art project "Vertrek" (= Room/Departure) by Aafke Weller, Josine Zuidema et al. Background music performed by Charles Belfor [cello]. Compositions varying from Fauré to Belfor originals and improvisations. Location: Moesstraat 98, Groningen (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] December 2 & 8, 2005: G.S.M.G. Bragi performed P.I. Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake", Paul Dukas' "L'apprenti sorcier" and Antonín Dvorák's "Mass in D Major". Locations: 'Hervormde Kerk' in Zuidlaren & 'St. Jozefkerk' in Groningen (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] April 2-6, 2005: The Rijnlands Lyceum Ensemble performed "Saturday Night Fever". Location: The Rijnlands Lyceum in Oegstgeest (The Netherlands).

  • [COMPOSER] February 25, 2005: Untitled composition for acoustic guitar and violoncello, co-composed by Daphina Misiedjan. Performed by Daphina Misiedjan [guitar] and Charles Belfor [cello]. Location: Bonaventura College, Leiden (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] December 16, 2004: Charles Belfor performed a sonata by Willem de Fesch & the "Prelude" and "Sicilienne" from François Couperin's "Pièces en concert". Location: The Rijnlands Lyceum in Oegstgeest (The Netherlands).

  • [COMPOSER] April 17-21, 2004: The Rijnlands Lyceum Ensemble performed Sophocles' "Antigone". Music composed by Gerwin van der Werf, Guus van Beelen, Alexander Tichler and Charles Belfor (Antigone's Last Monologue). Location: The Rijnlands Lyceum in Oegstgeest (The Netherlands).

  • [ARR.] July/August, 2003: Impromptu concerts in Suriname. Arrangements of Surinamese songs (by various composers) for 2 cellos or cello & church organ. Locations: Hotel Torarica, Noorderstadskerk & Thalia Theatre in Paramaribo (Republic of Suriname).

  • [CELLIST] April 12-16, 2003: The Rijnlands Lyceum Ensemble performed Rado & Ragni's "Hair, The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical". Music composed by Galt MacDermot. Location: The Rijnlands Lyceum in Oegstgeest (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] April 15-19, 2000: The Rijnlands Lyceum Ensemble performed Sophocles' "Oedipus". Music composed by Gerwin van der Werf & Ruth van der Putte. Location: The Rijnlands Lyceum in Oegstgeest (The Netherlands).

  • [CELLIST] June 30, 1998: Charles Belfor performed Franz Schubert's "Berceuse" (arr. for 2 harps & 1 cello) along with Suzanne Aandewiel & Jaap Klok. Also performed "Danza" from the Chilesotti manuscript (arr. for 3 cellos) along with Hans Bravenboer & Anneleen de Vreugd. Location: 'Muziekschool' in Katwijk aan Zee (The Netherlands).
